Peak season in Mallorca is from June to August. The weather is warm, the sea is perfect for swimming, and the island is buzzing with energy and festivals. That said, this is also when crowds are at their peak, so you’ll have to book early.
Shoulder season is from April to May and September to October. The weather is still mild and pleasant, and it’s an especially great time for hiking, cycling, and sightseeing. The sea is also still warm enough to swim in September and even October. For many, this is the best time to go.
Off season in Mallorca is from November to March. The weather cools down and the atmosphere is much quieter. Though some tourist services shut down, this time of year will let you experience the island like a local, and you’ll find great deals on Mallorca villas.

How’s the Weather in Mallorca?

Rainfall is moderate, with about 30-50 mm (1.2-2 inches) per month, making it a great time for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling.
Summer is Mallorca’s peak season, with hot, sunny days and minimal rainfall. Temperatures range from 25°C to 35°C (77°F to 95°F). Rain is rare, with just 10-20 mm (0.4-0.8 inches) per month. The warm sea temperatures and vibrant atmosphere make this the most popular time to visit.
Autumn sees a gradual cooling, with September still feeling summer-like at 27°C (81°F), dropping to around 18°C (64°F) by November. Rainfall increases, especially in October, which averages 60-80 mm (2.4-3.1 inches).
