Your Guide to Holetown Villas

Located on Barbados’s “Platinum” west coast, Holetown is a delightful colonial town with a rich history and beautiful beaches. It’s one of the most coveted parts of Barbados, and Holetown villas let you experience all its magic in style and privacy.

Originally called Jamestown, Holetown was the first English settlement in Barbados, dating back to 1627. You’ll find echoes of this history throughout, including through colonial architecture, old churches, and cannons facing the sea. While it grew as a trade hub, the 20th century saw Holetown gain prominence as a tourist destination, especially following the opening of the Sandy Lane Hotel in 1961.

Today, Holetown blends its colonial legacy with modern sophistication. It maintains a relaxed, refined vibe, setting it apart from the St Lawrence Gap or Bridgetown. And its calm waters make swimming and snorkeling here some of the best on the island.

Rental Escapes makes renting a luxury villa in Holetown easy. First, choose your travel dates. Next, select your party size. From there, your Rental Escapes Villa Specialist will happily present you with the best available Holetown villas for your group.
