Casita 5, on its hillside perch just a quick breezy walk to the shoreline of the Sea of Cortez in Los Cabos, is all about color, about merriment and happy moments as experienced through the design-intensive, yet whimsical, décor. The spaces all around say, “relax, you are home.”

The living spaces and bedrooms at Casita 5 are on one level, and an outdoor stone stairway takes guests to the pool and patio spaces below. A grand verandah keeps the indoor/outdoor spirit moving in this Los Cabos villa with wide floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious lounging areas. All the bedrooms tap into this wrap-around terrace balcony for sublime sea views.

Bedrooms are awash in the fruity tones of Mexican culture, an easy reminder that you are on a vacation in another country with its own rich culture and so much to explore.

For now, just exploring the Casita’s four bedrooms, reading a book on the terrace or soaking in the Jacuzzi will be fine. There is an inviting infinity pool to investigate and, beyond, a blue horizon of nothing but sea life so concentrated it has been tabbed by oceanographers as “the world’s aquarium.” Immerse in the “away-ness” of it all – so much here to keep the imagination reeling.

Los Cabos’ Casita 5 comes with plenty of extras. Large attached bathrooms offer bathtubs and unusual shower designs. Bedrooms offer sitting areas and desks. A comfortable living room flows from the dining area and takes in an outdoor patio with extra dining space. An outside staircase leads down to the pool and lounging area where a patio bar and pizza oven are on hand for added dining choices and entertainment. Don’t want to be bothered with the preparations? No problem. Casita 5 has a dedicated chef onboard with a wide variety of cooking talents. And then there is the casita’s dedicated butler at the ready-to-serve the oeuvres in style. A gourmet kitchen brings a dining island for lively sessions of meal-making and conversations.

In the evening hours, no matter what the season, family and guests can gather around the pool terrace and enjoy a raging fire pit under the stars, even go for an evening dip in the sparklingly illuminated and heated infinity pool. The Casita sleeps eight comfortably, but the spacious flow builds plenty of room for quiet as well as conversation.
