Most travelers arrive via St. Martin (SXM), then take a public or private ferry to Blowing Point. From there, Rendezvous Bay is just a short drive. You can also fly directly into Anguilla’s Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport. Your Concierge can arrange all transfers.

Many Rendezvous Bay villas are directly beachfront or just steps from the sand, offering easy access to swimming and long beach walks. Others are set slightly back with elevated views, while still close to the shoreline.

Rendezvous Bay itself is great for walking. The beach is long and flat, and you can easily walk to spots like Sunshine Shack, Dune Preserve, and Aurora Resort.
If you want to see more of the island, then you’ll want to rent a car. Roads are well maintained, and you’re just 5 minutes from Blowing Point and 10-15 minutes from Meads Bay and Shoal Bay.
Taxis and private drivers are also available, but should be booked in advance.
Boat charters are also a great way to explore the coast, and you can be picked up directly from Rendezvous Bay.

A rental car or private driver is recommended if you want to explore beyond the beach and nearby restaurants. Rendezvous Bay is walkable along the shoreline, but having a car makes it easy to visit locations like West End Village, Little Harbour, Sandy Hill, and beaches like Long Bay on your schedule. Your Concierge can arrange either option based on your preference.

Peak season in Rendezvous Bay is from December to April. The weather is ideal, and the water is calm and crystal clear. There’s also a lively atmosphere at the beach bars and restaurants. If you want to visit at this time, book early.
Shoulder season is from May to August. The weather is still good and the sea is calm. You’ll also have long stretches of the beach to yourself. This is a favorite time for many repeat guests.
Low season is from September to November. It’s hurricane season, but major storms are rare. Showers can be more frequent, though, and some restaurants may close. Still, this is the best time to get a great deal on Rendezvous Bay villas.

Yes, Rendezvous Bay is considered very safe. It’s one of the safest parts of Anguilla, and the island in general is one of the safest in the Caribbean.
The area is quiet and uncrowded, and there’s a strong sense of community with very little crime.

Hit the beach bars: Between Sunshine Shack and Dune Preserve (owned by reggae legend Bankie Banx), Rendezvous Bay has some of the best beach bars in Anguilla. Hit up Sunshine Shack for lunch, then go check out the live music at Dune Preserve.

The food scene in Rendezvous Bay is laid back and casual. There are iconic beach spots like Sunshine Shack and Dune Preserve for Caribbean favorites, and you’re just a short drive from some of Anguilla’s best fine dining. Expect lots of fresh seafood, along with tropical fruits, island-grown vegetables, and spices like scotch bonnet and thyme.

Spring in Rendezvous Bay is warm, dry, and breezy. Average temperatures range from 77°F to 86°F (25°C to 30°C), with low humidity and clear skies. Rainfall is minimal during these months, averaging about 1.5 to 2 inches (38 to 50 mm) per month. The sea stays calm and perfect for swimming, and trade winds keep things comfortable even on hotter days.
Summer is hot and sunny with occasional short rain showers, mostly in the early morning or late evening. Temperatures average between 80°F and 89°F (27°C to 32°C). Rainfall increases slightly to about 2 to 3 inches (50 to 76 mm) per month. It's still a great time to visit if you enjoy warm beach weather and quiet surroundings, as the island tends to be less crowded.
Fall is the wettest season in Rendezvous Bay and overlaps with the Atlantic hurricane season. Average temperatures remain steady around 79°F to 88°F (26°C to 31°C). Rainfall peaks at about 3 to 5 inches (76 to 127 mm) per month, especially in September and October. While storms are rare, brief tropical showers are more common, and some businesses may reduce hours or close temporarily during this time.
Winter is the driest and most popular time to visit Rendezvous Bay. Temperatures are mild and pleasant, averaging between 75°F and 84°F (24°C to 29°C). Rainfall is low, typically just 1 to 1.5 inches (25 to 38 mm) per month. The weather is sunny and stable, with light breezes and calm seas, making it ideal for beach days, sailing, and evening dining outdoors.
