St. Barts, or St. Barthelemy, is one of the world’s most beautiful luxury vacation destinations. The volcanic island is located in the French West Indies and is part of the Lesser Antilles, which are located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea. The island was named by Christopher Columbus after his brother, and was settled by the French in the mid-17th century, but was previously inhabited by the Indigenous Arawak people. With an area of roughly 25 square kilometres, St. Barts is small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up in stunning beaches, striking tropical flora, diverse and delicious cuisine, and unparalleled opportunities to unwind.

You’ll find world-spanning cuisine here, including French, Creole, and West Indian cuisine, as well as sparkling nightlife.
For the athletically inclined, St. Barts is heaven for water sport enthusiasts, with kitesurfing and deep-sea fishing among the activities enjoyed on the island.
