You need a valid passport to enter Anguilla. Some travelers may need an additional tourist visa if they are traveling from outside the US, Canada, the EU, and the UK.

Most travelers will fly into Saint Martin first and then take a ferry to Anguilla. There’s a public ferry from Marigot, or private ferries closer to the airport. The ride takes roughly 20 minutes.
There is also a small airport on Anguilla, and the flight from Saint Martin takes a few minutes.
Little Harbour is a 10-minute drive from the airport and a 5-minute drive from the port.

Little Harbour itself is compact and walkable, but there are no shops or restaurants. If you want to enjoy more of Anguilla, consider renting a car. Roads in Anguilla are well maintained, and you’ll be able to visit nearby beaches and restaurants at your own pace.
Taxis are also readily available, though fares can be high. Private drivers are also a good option, especially for guided tours.
Lastly, boat charters are a great way to see more of the coast.

Peak season in Little Harbour is from mid-December to April. The weather is ideal, and the island is lively. Villas fill up, though, so book early.
Shoulder season is from May to early August. The weather is still beautiful, but with a chance of occasional showers. Rates are lower, though, and there’s more availability. The sea is also at its calmest, ideal for swimming, boating, and snorkeling.
Off season is from mid-August to November. You’ll find exceptional value, but it’s hotter and more humid with occasional rain. It’s hurricane season, but Anguilla is often spared. This is a great time for longer stays.

Rainfall starts to increase slightly but remains manageable, with monthly averages around 2.5 to 3 inches (64 to 76 mm). Skies are mostly sunny, and the ocean stays warm, making it great for beach days and snorkeling.
Fall is the wettest time of year and falls within the Atlantic hurricane season, though direct hits are rare. Temperatures stay steady, ranging from 77°F to 87°F (25°C to 31°C). Rainfall averages about 4 inches (102 mm) per month, with brief tropical downpours and humid conditions. It's the quietest season for tourism, but still beautiful between showers.
Winter is the most popular season thanks to cooler, drier air and steady sunshine. Highs hover around 82°F (28°C) with lows near 74°F (23°C), and rainfall is minimal, averaging just 1.2 inches (30 mm) per month.
