You must present a valid passport upon entering Anguilla. An additional tourist visa may be required if you’re traveling from outside the US, Canada, UK, or the EU.

Most travelers will fly into St Maarten (SXM), where you clear immigration and baggage. From there, you can take a public ferry from Marigot, which runs every 30-45 minutes. The crossing takes roughly 20-25 minutes.
There are also private ferries, some of which offer direct departures near SXM.
Anguilla also has its own airport. The flight is about 7-8 minutes, and the airport is about 15-20 minutes away from Blowing Point.
Once you arrive in Blowing Point, you’ll find plenty of taxis to take you to your villa, or you can rent a car.

If you want to explore Anguilla, your best option is to rent a car. Roads here are well-maintained, and you’ll get to see the island on your schedule, including its 30+ beaches.

Peak season in Blowing Point is from mid-December to mid-April. The weather is dry and sunny and the sea is calm. It’s an ideal time for boating, swimming, and lounging, and restaurants and beach clubs are in full swing.
Shoulder season is from mid-April to early June and November to early December. The weather is still warm and dry, though with occasional light showers. Beaches are still fully open but quieter, and it’ll be easier to arrange excursions and charters.
Off season is from mid-June to October. The temperatures and humidity are higher, and there’s a higher risk of storms. Many restaurants and charters also close. Still, this is a great time to find great deals on Blowing Point villas, as well as enjoy warm water and lots of peace.

Yes, Blowing Point is considered very safe. All of Anguilla is known for having low crime, and the community is small, friendly, and welcoming. Most of our Blowing Point villas also have on-site staff, and the areas are quiet and residential at night.

Rainfall is moderate during this time, averaging about 2 to 3 inches (50 to 75 mm) per month. The trade winds keep the air feeling fresh, and the sea is warm enough for swimming every day.
Summer brings hotter temperatures and the beginning of the wet season. Expect daily highs between 82°F and 89°F (28°C to 32°C) with warm nights and rising humidity. Rainfall increases slightly, with monthly averages around 3 to 4 inches (75 to 100 mm), often coming in short bursts followed by sunshine. The sea is calm and ideal for boating and snorkeling.
Fall is the wettest time of year and also peak hurricane season. Average temperatures hover around 80°F to 87°F (27°C to 31°C) with high humidity. Rainfall can reach 4 to 6 inches (100 to 150 mm) per month, and tropical storms are more likely. However, many days remain sunny between showers, and the island is lush and green.
Winter is Blowing Point's driest and most pleasant season. Temperatures are comfortably warm, ranging from 75°F to 82°F (24°C to 28°C). Rainfall drops to about 1 to 2 inches (25 to 50 mm) per month. The skies are usually clear, the sea is calm, and the weather is ideal for beach days and outdoor dining.
