When traveling to Jamaica, it is important to know the proper documents needed for entry. The hurricane season runs from August to November, though the actual chance of encountering a hurricane is low and there are certainly many great deals to be had.
December through March are typically the driest months, making them ideal for travel, but they’re also high season.

Ocho Rios is a beautiful tropical destination with year-round sunshine. That said, the there’s certainly more sunshine in the dry season from December to April, while the wet season from June-November sees more rainfall (though it’s mostly limited to showers in the afternoon).
In general, though, the climate is hot and humid, with average temperatures ranging from 73°F-88°F (23°C-31°C), but the refreshing trade winds blowing in from the sea offset the heat.
