Kai Kala is a remarkable waterfront estate in the Prospect area of Ocho Rios. Just feet from the radiantly turquoise waters of the Caribbean, and set amidst lush, tropical gardens, this luxurious retreat features four separate villas, with a total of ten bedrooms. The newly remodeled, four-bedroom main house, Kai Kala, directly overlooks the natural drama of sea and sky. The other villas include the one-bedroom, Hideaway Cottage, perched on the cliff’s edge; the two-bedroom Bamboo Cottage, set within the gardens, and the three-bedroom, Sea View Cottage, also set within the gardens and offering views of the sea through the trees. The property’s staff includes a chef, butler, housekeepers, laundress and yardmen.

With its large, saltwater pool, two spas, abundant outdoor areas, and inviting seaside deck, the property is perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, destination weddings (seating 30 guests)—or even for a small group of friends seeking an extraordinary getaway. The individual houses are not rented separately.

The soothing sounds of a cascading waterfall and the sweet fragrance of tropical flowers greet guests as they cross over a meandering stream to get to Kai Kala. Lush plantings and a koi-filled pond create a tranquil backdrop to this stunning, two-story haven. Luxuriously appointed throughout, many of the villa's architectural features and furnishings are hand-crafted using local wood and materials. Three of the four bedrooms are located on the main entrance level. This spacious level features ample dining and living areas, including a formal dining room, a handsome bar area, and a slate-tiled veranda that wraps around the pool and a powder room. The low-chlorine, saltwater pool is artfully adorned with blue mosaic tiles, and also features a jetted hot tub. Ceiling fans whir gently, blending the sounds of surf and the warm trade winds. The home's amenities include an entertainment center with a large, cable TV, DVD player, and wireless internet access throughout.
