Famous for its art and architecture, Florence is an obligatory destination for the first-timer visitor of Italy. However, while exploring the historical center is something that cannot be missed, the pristine studded landscapes and the enchanted medieval villages set on the famous Tuscan rolling hills surrounding Florence are well worth a visit.
The most famous area to explore is the Chianti, a blessed land that covers a rather large wine-producing region of Tuscany, reaching from Florence to Siena, and all the way out to Pisa. Chianti's must see sights are the wine villages of Castellina, Radda and Gaiole. Along the road visit the Badia di Coltibuono and/or Castello di Brolio and do not forget to pick up some wine to enjoy at the villa!

PERFECTO!
Our stay at Gioriante-Tuscan Villa was nothing short of unforgettable. The location was absolutely perfect, allowing us to experience the beauty and charm of Tuscany while feeling completely at home and a short drive to beautiful Florence. Angelica and the entire staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we truly felt like part of their family. The private chef nights hosted by Alessio and his wonderful pasta-making class gave us not only a delicious taste of authentic Tuscan cuisine but created unforgettable moments of laughter, connection and family time together. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, making our week both relaxing and extraordinary. A heartfelt thank you to Samantha from Rental Escapes for bringing every detail of our dream vacation to life and creating an experience that exceeded all of our exceptions. She answered every question, made sure every detail was accounted for and provided us and villa a detailed itinerary. We leave with beautiful memories and can't wait to return.

Villa Tizzano
Our extended family of 16 spent a week at Villa Tizzano, eight adults and eight children. This was our most special and memorable trip! The villa was exceptional. It had everything we could need for a special vacation across three generations, including a first floor primary for the grandparents. Angelica, the homeowner, went to great lengths to make sure our every need was met. This historic house has over 1000 years of history featured throughout the home and is fascinating, updated and beautiful. The four primary bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, gave all the adult couples plenty of space and privacy and incredible views. The eight children were more than comfortable in the four additional bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The fully stocked kitchen made meals easy and the attentive staff cleaned every single day. We felt pampered and taken care of. The pool is gorgeous overlooking the Tuscan hills. The thoughtfully appointed seating areas kept adults cool while kids swam for hours after our days of sightseeing. Our proximity to Florence made it easy to go into the city and to the vineyards! We are grateful to Angelica for her hospitality and wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Tizzano for anyone!
