Luxury Villa Rentals for 2+ people
A purpose-built town along Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, Las Catalinas is where New Urbanism meets La Pura Vida. This is where you go to enjoy picture-perfect views in a Mediterranean-inspired town focused on walkability and sustainability. And with their terracotta roofs and inspired designs, Las Catalinas villas make up an integral part of what makes this place so special.
Founded in the 1990s, Las Catalinas was planned as a car-free Costa Rican beach town. Through mixed-purpose zoning, a curated sense of design, and meticulous landscaping, Las Catalinas succeeded in its vision of bringing together architecture, ecology, and community.
Today, Las Catalinas is celebrated for offering a strong sense of place. Unlike busier towns like Tamarindo or Nosara, it provides a quieter, more intentional experience. Think yoga at sunrise, live music in the square, art events, and chef-driven dining. And this ethos extends to the thoughtful design of Las Catalinas villas as well.
Rental Escapes makes renting a luxury villa in Las Catalinas easy. First, choose your travel dates. Next, select your party size. From there, your Rental Escapes Villa Specialist will happily present you with the best available Las Catalinas villas for your group. Afterward, your Concierge will customize your trip with transportation, chef service, excursions, staff, and more.
Blending Spanish, Colonial, Mediterranean, and tropical styles, Las Catalinas villa rentals elevate your stay with their design-forward philosophies. Each offers a distinct experience, while still adhering to the goal of honoring their natural surroundings.
Las Catalinas villas can be found throughout the town, including steps from Playa Danta and the heart of the town; upper town, with hillside views; Paseo del Mar, near the Las Catalinas Beach Club; and on corner lots, where you’ll find some of the town’s largest villas.
No matter where you stay, expect handcrafted details and a strong emphasis on indoor-outdoor living. You can also expect thoughtful design that maximizes natural light, ocean breezes, and stunning viewpoints.
