Meticulous and detailed restoration, with the objective of retaining as many of the original architectural elements of the Chianti Villa rental, has resulted in recreating the ancient atmosphere of this noble family home.

Located in the midst of the Chianti hills, on a ridge overlooking valleys rich in history, is Castellare de’ Sernigi, an ancient manor house owned by the Sernigi Family who were rich merchants and patrons of art for important painters in the fifteenth century. Passed over to the Naldini del Riccio family, it became a country residence in the eighteenth century.

The property was purchased at the end of the 1950s by the Corti Family who subsequently restored the Villa to its past splendour. Restoration of the Chianti Villa has not only maintained its architectural style, but has also enhanced the natural harmony which bonds this structure to the Tuscan landscape.
