La Segreta

OVERVIEW

La Segreta has an important history: former barrack of Carabinieri, its architecture reflects past glories. But that’s not all: a local inhabitant told us that during some researches on Malfitan houses he came across a testimony that would see La Segreta also as a former convent of nuns. Whether it’s true or not, we like to think that La Segreta has witnessed many stories and we can’t wait to add yours.

The villa (360 square meters) on two levels is divided into three private suites (Aria, Acqua and Terra) and a living area of 90 square meters.
Aria and Acqua are on the upper floor, with direct access to the terrace and its superb sea view; Terra and the living area are on the lower floor, both with direct access to the Aeolian porch and the garden.
Each suite (90 square meters) consists of two double bedrooms, two finely decorated bathrooms with shower, and a living room with a small kitchen equipped with dedicated kitchenware for light meals; the warm and welcoming living area consists of a main kitchen, a lounge, a dining room and a bathroom.

Upstairs, Aria, with its pink and green shades, amazes with the sophisticated tub in the main bedroom, perfect for enjoying a relaxing bath, while Acqua offers new perspectives with its hand-crafted desk overlooking the island of Panarea.

Both Aria and Acqua have direct access to a wide terrace, where you can sunbathe in total privacy, have a coffee sitting at the hand-painted lava stone tables, protected by the branches of a beautiful maritime pine, or enjoy a sea-view aperitivo at sunset.

Downstairs, Terra, cozy and unusual, has a personality of its own; its two bedrooms, full of well-balanced contrasts induce a restoring but creative sleep. Terra has direct access to the porch and the garden.

La Segreta is a hymn to open-air lifestyle. The Aeolian porch is the perfect choice for breakfast while enjoying the stunning view over the rooftops to the blue of the sky and the sea. It leads to the garden, where citrus plants and fragrant flowers frame the infinity pool, twelve meters long and six meters wide. The pool area is equipped with a pergola for alfresco dining.
Perfectly integrated into the vegetation, two small buildings house the technical and laundry room.
