But Petite Afrique is likewise an excellent starting point for conveniently reaching the nearby historic town of Noto and the most beautiful beaches of south-eastern Sicily by car. Also nearby are Syracuse, Modica, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla, Marzamemi, Portopalo di Capo Passero and the Vendicari Nature Reserve.
