Tip of the Tail's breathtaking glass-wall pool is one of the villa's most beloved features. Make a splash or wade in with the sunset and experience the sensation of being one with the ocean. The pool is equipped with LED lights that can be programmed to your exact favorite hue, or set to be in tune with the villa-wide music system. Pool party, or romantic midnight swim? You set the tone. Looking for the best seat in the house? Our ten-person cabana lounger is just the relaxation spot you have been searching for.
Each of the four upper bedrooms feature access to seamless indoor outdoor living on our expansive 2,000 square foot terrace. Perfect for sunbathing, reading a book or enjoying a seafood fare on, Tip of the Tail's terrace is lined in glass and exudes an atmosphere that marries Miami with the tropics.
Step down the stairs adjacent to the pool into Tip of the Tail's courtyard where you will find our 20-person fire pit enclave designed to ignite the senses in the heat of the night. The fire pit allows you and your party to create your own nightlife in a setting that is both intimate and extravagant, all in the same breath.
Welcome to a villa whose backyard begs the question - 'what kind of beach-goer are you?'. Tip of the Tail features two beach landscapes that join together as one. For the wanderlust traveler who dreams of blue skies, soft sand and blue lagoons, our beautiful white-sand beach is for you. Escape the sun on a lounger beneath our palapas designed to elevate your beach experience like never before.
For the children, and children at heart, Tip of the Tail's second beach landscape is filled with millions of shells - a treasure trove for every young explorer. Regardless of which landscape you choose, wade into the lagoon set among the most vivid and lush mangroves in the Caribbean. Warm, blue, clean and safe water awaits you.
Tip of the Tail is equipped with kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and water toys to keep you active while on vacation, or to explore the channel that feeds life into the mangroves. Looking for a high-speed thrill? We are partnered with our neighbouring marina - home to mega yachts and beautiful catamarans - meaning you can have a jet ski delivered right to your backyard (or in this case, your lagoon).
While the beautiful soft sand of Tip of the Tail's private lagoon is breathtaking and inviting, some will always prefer the thrill of the open ocean. Tip of the Tail is unique in that it is both lagoon-front, and ocean-front. Step onto the warm wood of your private splash dock atop the villa's coastal edge and dive into the clearest, warmest water you have ever experienced. Snorkel with the abundant marine life or allow us to arrange a tender to a nearby yacht. Our villa is one with the ocean, and we want our guests to be, too.
How do you end the perfect day in paradise? Tip of the Tail features a full-service beach bar equipped with billiards, on-tap beer and spirits, and all the tools our staff need to fix you the perfect, ice cold cocktail. With comfort and relaxation so refined, you may choose to start the day here, instead!
In case you planned on spending any of your vacation inside, we have outfitted Tip of the Tail with the most sumptuous, luxurious and tasteful comforts of home. Contemporary in architecture and design, and warmed with hues of the ocean, Tip of the Tail was built by master craftsmen and architects to create seamless indoor/outdoor living. With everything from high-end kitchen appliances, silverware and wine glasses, to laundry facilities, to lockable storage and safes in each room, to a wine and spirits fridge and bar, Tip of the Tail was built for living.
Tip of the Tail is a big home. Big homes require big networking, security and connectivity. Our villa is completely outfitted with lightning fast wireless internet access in every corner of the house, and is equipped with astounding - but easy to use and understand - technology that runs the house.
The entire villa is equipped with SONOS, an easy to use sound-system that can control the music level in all zones throughout the house, simply using the in-house iPad. You can also download the SONOS app to stream your own music throughout the house. Even the pool is a 'smart pool', and its beautiful LED color lights can be controlled through the touch of an app.
While Turks & Caicos is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean, security for our guests is one of our utmost priorities. The exterior of the house is equipped with security cameras, and the entire house is outfitted with a security system that monitors movement, glass integrity and CO2 levels in the house. All the doors are 'smart doors', opened only by a keycard specifically activated for your stay. Tip of the Tail is at the end of the only road on Turtle Tail, the entrance of which is monitored around the clock by neighbourhood security.

Paradise, found. The Turks & Caicos Islands consist of 40 islands and cays, eight of which are inhabited. The islands are located 550 miles southeast of Miami, Florida, just below the Bahamas, in the warmest, bluest enclave of the Atlantic Ocean. Spoiled with warm, calm weather, the Turks & Caicos Islands rarely see rain, and enjoy 350 days of sunshine. Tip of the Tail is located on a peninsula called Turtle Tail, speckled with estate homes and celebrity mansions (including Prince's palatial estate), and luxurious, private living.
Tip of the Tail was designed to keep her guests entertained, invigorated and rejuvenated. But some of the best exploration is done in our neighbourhood - both on land, and at sea. Charter a yacht to tender you right from our dock, slice through the clear blue water on a thrilling jet ski adventure, or have our driver bring you into town for shopping, dining and nightlife like you have never experienced before.
Strategically placed and designed, Tip of the Tail allows her visitors to experience the best of the Turks & Caicos islands, using the villa as your base for rest, relaxation and luxury. Explore the various excursions, events and destinations on-island that have made our guests fall in love with the island.
Turks & Caicos is more than just a beach destination in the Caribbean. It is a living, breathing ecosystem for adventure junkies, thrill seekers, and of course, sun and sand lovers. It’s an explorer’s paradise; in 2004, in the midst of Hurricane Frances, a privately-owned freighter broke loose from its mooring and drifted into the Caribbean Sea.
Today, the La Famille Express rests on a reef just five minutes away from Tip of the Tail, abandoned and desolate. It was built in 1952 by the Russian Navy as a cargo ship, the Fort Shevchenko. It was sold to an islander in the mid-1990's, but not before witnessing the Cuban Missile Crisis first-hand in 1962. Alone on the reef, rusting and decaying since the day it was wrecked, it serves as a visual landmark for boaters and a hidden attraction of the Turks & Caicos Islands. Whether you admire it from sea level or are brave enough to traverse its walls, this shipwreck is rarely visited by tourists despite its crystal blue, shallow surroundings - making it the perfect spot for a unique photo op. Our guests have exclusive access to our neighbouring marina, who can send a certified guide right to our beach to pick you up and explore the wreck.
Looking to rent a car, charter a yacht or experience a seaplane or heli tour of the island? Just ask our VIP Sales Team or on-site Villa Manager to arrange these or any other island excursions for you. From private and party cruises, to snorkel and scuba day trips, to whale watching adventures, Turks & Caicos has something to offer for all.
Turks & Caicos is a beautiful, warm and safe island nation steeped in rich history dating back to nearly 700 years before Christopher Columbus first set foot on the island in 1492. The people of Turks & Caicos, called Turks Islanders, are happy, friendly people who are always excited to welcome visitors to their islands. Many North Americans call Turks & Caicos home thanks to its weather, investment climate, safety and proximity to the Untied States and Canada.
Today, Turks & Caicos stands on the threshold of an exciting future boasting the fastest growing economy in the Caribbean coupled with strictly controlled development to protect the islands heritage as a pristine sanctuary for both local residents and tourists to enjoy for the next thousand years.
If you have ever had a friend or family member who has visited the Turks & Caicos Islands, chances are, you’ve heard of Fish Fry Thursdays. Tourists and locals alike join together in the country’s biggest social tradition - a huge cultural gathering every single Thursday filled with mouthwatering food, Caribbean culture, and a Junkanoo dancing parade. A trip to Turks & Caicos would not be complete without visiting Fish Fry Thursdays!
