Welcome to Denton, where breathtaking mountain scenery meets cozy elegance in Donner Lake! This newly built home has all the rustic charm of a mountain cabin, enhanced by modern luxuries and many amenities.

This cabin’s large living area invites you to relax with its soaring vaulted ceilings, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, and a stunning stone fireplace that adds a rustic touch. The open floor plan seamlessly connects the living area to a fully equipped kitchen, complete with sleek quartzite countertops, high-end appliances, and an island with barstool seating—ideal for gathering around while preparing delicious meals. With luxurious touches like heated bathroom and mudroom floors, every detail has been carefully crafted at Denton.

Step outside onto the large deck. A glass-enclosed area is ideal for enjoying all year round, where you’ll find a comfortable lounge area, a fire pit to keep things cozy, and a bar counter. Grab a seat and a drink in hand as you soak up the lake views just beyond the towering pine trees. For even more relaxation, head to the yard, where a hot tub and more lake views await you. This yard also features a lush turf lawn and a picnic table under the glow of string lights, offering an inviting space for outdoor games or an evening BBQ.

Denton’s sleeping arrangements cater to groups of all sizes, the primary bedroom boasting a king bed and a luxurious ensuite bathroom. Bedrooms two and three feature plush queen beds, and there’s even a loft area with a twin daybed and trundle, making it a great little nook for younger guests or extra sleepers. The bonus room is a cozy hideaway with a king bed, a convenient kitchenette, and an ensuite bath.

Just a short stroll from Donner Lake, Denton is located in the Donner Lake Community, the jewel of the Tahoe area. Donner Lake is warmer and much less crowded than Lake Tahoe, with 37 public beaches and piers. A canoe and 5 bikes are provided for guest use, ideal for outdoor adventures in the warmer months. Hiking trails such as the Pacific Crest Trail are just 5 minutes away. The West end public beach has many amenities and a swim area for kids. The State Park beach on the East end has boat/jet ski/kayak rentals as well as a museum (Park day pass included). In the winter, hit the slopes at Sugar Bowl, only 12 minutes up the old Hwy 40, or head to Palisades (formerly Squaw Valley), Alpine, or North Star less than 30 minutes away. Denton is conveniently located on the home side of Truckee, avoiding all of the traffic and providing easy access to everything Tahoe has to offer.
