All we hoped for and more!
Well all that was promised was delivered and more. The house and staff are amazing. The chef was great. Some items that may or may not be of interest to your for any future guests in this house. 1. We did not clarify about potable water in the house and bought a lot on the way down from Cancun. The tap water is NOT potable but the staff provides potable water in all bathrooms and there is always potable water in the kitchen so this is NOT a problem. 2. We had minimal direct interaction with Francisco but more because we had no need for concierge service beyond that provided by you Tim. This was mostly because we had our own cars. Having enough cars for large groups is costly but the freedom they provided was certainly nice for us! 3.Unexpected and very helpful was the daily brief and pre-arranged visit by Elie who was an agent for the owner of the house. He is the one who introduced us to the home and helped with any questions about what to expect. We have several excellent Spanish speakers in our family so communication with staff was never a problem but on some issues we were uncertain of what would be available. Issue about towels changed only twice a week and changing of sheets - Elie made clear that merely ask and you would get fresh towels etc. Clean beach towels were provided daily and in abundance. 4. If you paid chef in USD rather than pesos you got VERY good conversion rate. Advise people that getting to an ATM in Tulum in high season can be a major time sink during peak times. We were in Tulum on Friday evening and the lines at the ATMs at the two banks in town were about 25 - 30 people long! 5. We NEVER felt unsafe and were unsure of the necessity of the night time security. There was security at an entry gate to the road to the house AND a security guard for the house itself. Again - not obtrusive in any way. 6. There is a nice Cenote for snorkling or scuba a five minute walk from the house! 7. The Riviera Elite Cruise you helped us with was TREMENDOUS. So - thanks for identifying this home for us and making the transition to it easy for us. Steve

Worth it. Great trip thanks to Rental Escapes.
The villa and it's staff were exceptional - exactly as promised by Rental Escapes. The concierge services are ok for pre-stocking and airport transfers, but everything else was easier to organize once we arrived at our destination - eg. local suggestions, pricing and flexibly. We would definitely return to the house and location.

Spectacular!
The Villa Cenote del Mar was spectacular with beautiful bedrooms and living spaces, a gorgeous pool and beach area - everything we expected - and the services were better than expected. This villa provides a wonderful staff and they made everything easy. Rental Escapes stayed with me as we planned transfers, meals, excursions, etc. for our group of 14. Our concierge checked on us in person 1 or 2 times each day. We had a day trip to Chichen Itza, spa services at the villa, deep sea fishing, and a yacht trip that included swimming, snorkeling, and fishing. We also went on our own to the ruins at Tulum - fabulous! There is a casino nearby that is adequate, and we also saw the new Joya Cirque de Soleil show - terrific. The perfect villa made everything else possible.
