How to Travel to the Luberon?

Most travelers will fly into Marseille Provence Airport, which is about 1 hour away from Bonnieux or Gordes. Another popular option is Avignon-Provence Airport, which is 45 minutes away. Some also fly into Nice or Lyon, which is 2.5-3.5 hours away. There’s a TGV to Avignon from Paris (2 hours and a half), Lyon (1 hour), and Marseille (35 minutes).
You can also drive from Avignon or Aix-en-Provence into Luberon, which takes about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. The roads are narrow but highly scenic, with hilltop villages and vineyards surrounding you.
