Perfect House for a 50th Birthday Celebration!

I feel like "rating the property" should be one question and your "overall experience" should be a separate question. To give background, we went to Cabo for my husband's 50th Birthday and there were 8 of us. We stayed at Casa de Suenos in Fundadores NOT Pedregal. About a 45 minute drive between the two houses, so everyone....double check your TRANSPORTATION addresses! First of all, the property was PERFECTION!! 5 Stars for sure! It was so beautiful, spacious, perfectly laid out, had amazing views and was well appointed. The pool/outdoor area was beyond beautiful. We only left the house one time during our stay (cancelling our other activities). It was so relaxing that we stayed at the house the rest of our vacation. A couple of suggestions to have at the house....citronella candles for the bugs outside. A wine opener that works (and maybe a backup on hand). There was one wine opener in the house and it was broken. Also, pool noodles. There were only 2 pool noodles when we arrived. The pool is very deep and to really relax and enjoy it you really need a floatation device. We went out and bought 8 pool noodles, which we left at the house when we departed. But having them made all the difference. The friendly house cleaner, Anita, arrived every morning at 9am. She changed and IRONED sheets, moped floors, washed dishes, etc. She was really great and nice to have around. We also arranged to have a bartender, Delia, who was AMAZING!!! She definitely made our weekend even more enjoyable. She assisted with drinks but also SO much more. She assisted with things that were probably not in her job description but meant so much to us. She is a KEEPER and should be recognized. Although my friends and I had an unbelievable experience overall, there were definitely some bumps in the road, which is why I begrudgingly put 4 STARS. I had arranged transportation to/from the airport, in advance, through the concierge when I booked the house. Apparently, the wrong address was given and the driver took us from the airport to a house 45 minutes away. Both houses were called Casa de Suenos so there was a lot of confusion on the drivers end and we had a difficult time contacting the concierge and figuring it all out. We were all thirsty and had to use the restroom, so the driver took us to a complete hole in the wall where no one wanted to even use the bathroom. The entire process took about 2 hours when the house was only 20 minutes from the airport. We did not receive an apology from the on site concierge until the last day of our stay. I feel like she should have been much more involved in the process. It was not the best way to start an amazing vacation, but we didn't let it dictate our vacation. The other bump in the road, was that I had previously ordered groceries to be pre-stocked in the house for us upon arrival. When we arrived I realized several items were missing from the order. We quickly made a list and called the on site concierge to have the items delivered. The were delivered fairly promptly and we decided to order a few additional items for the following day. The deliverer assured us the store opened at 7am and he would be there first thing and have them delivered to us right after. As some of the items were breakfast items we told him that would be perfect. I texted my list to the on-site concierge so she could facilitate. The next day the gentleman did not show in the morning. I contacted the on-site concierge several times. She said he would be there in 30 minutes. He didn't show up until late afternoon. By then, we didn't need several of the items on the list. Although the on-site concierge, Anna, was very friendly and easily accessible by phone, I feel like there were a lot of opportunities missed by her. I feel like the transportation debacle and the grocery mishap could have been better handled by her, as she was our main point person. Overall, we had an EPIC time and were able to overlook the transportation and grocery issues. The house was PERFECT, the bartender (Delia) was AMAZING and we would definitely go back!
